Products

The Thermal Solutions Division of Research, Inc. produces products based on its engineering expertise in infrared lamp technology. A complete line of modular infrared heating devices are designed to produce a variety of heat flux densities (~3 watts/in²) and radiation geometries (from 0.25 in. diameter spots to areas as large as 38 x 144 inches). Some of these heaters are capable of heating targets to over 2000°F in a matter of seconds. The various members of this product family include the SpotIR™, LineIR™, StripIR™, PanelIR™, ChambIR™, and Hi-TempIR™ series of infrared heaters. In addition, power control products for these heaters are available within the ControlIR™ series of SCR power controllers. Together these infrared heaters and SCR power controllers form integrated heating systems designed to solve a wide variety of process problems that involve heating, curing, drying, activating/reactivating, soldering, bonding, and annealing of many different materials.
